JACKSON HAS BEEN ELECTED TO THE POSITION OF SECTION MANAGER
Well, the election is
finally over. I could never tell how it would turn out but I am very
pleased with the results. From the beginning, I made
it clear my strategy for raising the Minnesota Section to a new level would
include recruiting talented people to help me. This job is not just a
one-person endeavor but needs a few good men and women to work together for the
good of the section. So, while I thank you
for the support that made this win possible, don't leave me now.
A number of really good people have offered to help but some of the
cabinet positions are still open and I really do want a full slate of staff to
help manage the section. Please let
me know how you can help. ·

affiliated club activities ·
Find out about activities in your
section ·
Request assistance with problems
or question about amateur radio ·
Make contact with ARRL staff for
information or help ·
Volunteer for ARRL or public
service activities ·
Nominate individuals or clubs for
special recognition If you want to participate in the section
management in any way, please contact me. There
are many ways available for you to help. The
ARRL website does explain this very well. Look
at the ARRL Field Organization section for a complete description. After I attend the section manager’s
training session at league headquarters, I will be making the circuit of clubs
to speak about the section and its needs. You
